How does the free trial and billing work?

New libraries get a 30-day free trial — full access, no card required to start. When you're ready, you subscribe from Settings → Billing.
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Review your plan and trial countdown.
- Choose Subscribe and complete checkout.

Kickstool is priced by the size of the community you serve, using the service population your library reports to IMLS. Every plan includes unlimited staff, volunteers, and branches. Billing is annual.
Billing and payments are handled by our payment provider through a secure checkout and customer portal, where you can update your card and see invoices. Questions about pricing? Email us — we're happy to help.
